Why Become A Member Of Our Woman’s Club?

The Woman’s Club of Casselberry has two main priorities: civic duty and socializing. Both are equally important, “We are very proud of the money we are able to donate,” Karime Lomeli says, “but we are also a place for women to come and meet friends while having fun.”

The club, which currently has about 60 members, donates anywhere between $10,000 to $15,000 a year to local charitable organizations such as Kids in Support of Soldiers, Shepherd’s Hope, and Harbor House. We also fund a $10,000 endowment at Seminole State College that provides scholarships to women returning to school. Most of the money raised comes from clubhouse rentals for private events. the Woman’s Club also hosts activities that bring in revenue like twice-monthly bingo and monthly lunches with speakers or entertainers.

Membership Requirements

We are a group of dynamic women who gather to socialize, build friendships, and give back to our local community. As a member, you’ll be encouraged to volunteer as often as you can.  Members can assist in fundraising opportunities as well as social functions. We also host our monthly Luncheon which includes a catered lunch and special program. Our luncheons are the first Tuesday of every month from October through June and occur from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM. The cost is $15.00 per member and $18.00 per guest.

The qualifications for membership are: 

• Any woman desiring to join the Woman’s Club of Casselberry must complete an application and be approved by the Membership Committee. 
• Membership will begin upon payment of dues that are $25.00 annually.
• The membership year begins May 1st and dues are payable as of that date. 
• Dues not paid by the June meeting will result in an individual’s name being deleted from the Yearbook and email roster.   

You do not have to live in Casselberry to be a member.
